Dr. Stephen Weber is Professor of Music, Chair of the Division of Arts and Humanities and Ragan Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO). At USAO Weber teaches studio and class piano, composition, World Thought and Culture, Senior Seminar, Music Technology, Rhetoric and Critical Thinking, and other classes as needed.
His compositions have been published by Alfred Music, Warner Brothers, Zalo Publishers, Permus Publications, H.W. Gray, Voice of the Rockies Music Publishers, and Concordia Publishing House. He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) through which he has received numerous Standard Awards. On four occasions Weber was selected as recipient of university teaching and creative activity awards. Weber has composed over 400 works for a variety of media and in numerous genres: church music, chamber music, vocal and choral music, electronic music, ambient music, soundscapes, neoclassical, minimal, and others.
